Dollard-des-Ormeaux in Gatineau

The new rental community in Dollard-des-Ormeaux will consist of 110 apartments, spread over 10 floors, with an outdoor rooftop terrace and indoor parking. The project will benefit from a LEED certification, an internationally recognized symbol of success in sustainable development.

The first phase of this development involved the strategic deconstruction of buildings on the existing site. Through this process, Brigil hopes to reuse, recuperate, and recycle building materials - an approach that will divert nearly 25% of the material destined for landfill.

The white roof and 58 underground parking spaces will help reduce heat islands.

Located in the heart of downtown Gatineau and 2.5 km from Parliament Hill, Dollard-des-Ormeaux benefits from easy access to the public transit system, which reduces dependence on the automobile.

The various restaurants within walking distance, the proximity of several national museums including the Canadian Museum of History - the most visited museum in the country - and the presence of primary and secondary schools will encourage young families to move into this lively and flourishing neighbourhood.

Cyclists will be enchanted by the proximity of Gatineau Park, while walkers and joggers will be happy to practice their hobby along the shores of the Ottawa River. Foodies and culture lovers will be served by the many culinary options on Laval Street and the proximity of the Place des Festivals and Place du Portage.

Canadian Museum of History

Canada's most visited museum institution, with over 1.2 million visitors annually, is a popular cultural attraction just a few blocks from Dollard-des-Ormeaux.
