BRIGIL gives$45,000 to Gatineau's Green Fund

 

 

Gatineau, May 24th 2018 –BRIGIL president Gilles Desjardins offers $45,000 to Gatineau's Green Fund.

 

Gilles Desjardins wishes to continue to do his part in protecting Gatineau's environment.

 

"I know that our elected members of the city council and the city's administration manage the Green Fund with care, so I'm pleased to contribute to its continuation", admits Gilles Desjardins 

 

BRIGIL is dedicated to the green and natural spaces protection in all its projects.   

 

"We always believed in environment. That's why we gave and planted thousands of trees in many projects in Gatineau, such as Boucher Forest or Domaine du Vieux-Port, where we preserved 70% of the land used to build phase III", reminds Gilles Desjardins.

 

BRIGIL also made a $35,000 donation to the city of Gatineau in February 2010 for its tree plantation program. BRIGIL have planted over 100,000 trees along with the city of Gatineau, planned green corridors in urban area and have protected wet areas in many communities.
