Submission of the Place des Peuples project.

 

Gatineau, March 17, 2017. Further to the announcement about the submission of the Place des Peuples project by Brigil and its owner Gilles Desjardins, Brigil wishes to reiterate its commitment to the City and all its citizens and making Gatineau a prosperous city, a city that deserves its title as the fourth largest city in Quebec.

 

The love and feeling of belonging that Gilles Desjardins has for his city are indisputable.  His many accomplishments and those of his team are tangible evidence that he can make a difference and enable Gatineau to be empowered and achieve its full potential.

 

Since September 2013, Brigil has been in discussion with the City of Gatineau’s urban planning department, as is the standard in a process like this. Since 2016, again with the aim of working together with the mayor and his entire team, Brigil has being waiting to submit its project, at the mayor’s request.

 

In March 2017, when the nearby Sheraton project was approved, Brigil officially submitted the project to the City for analysis purposes, again with the aim of following the established process.

 

Therefore, it is with tremendous pride that we hereby inform you of having submitted the project and that a press conference will be organized in the near future in order to publicize the submission of the Place des Peuples project.
